George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire - Philosophy and Speculative Fiction (lecture 12)

Published on Dec 16, 2016
This is the twelfth session in a series of monthly lectures and discussions, spanning the year 2016 and hosted by the Brookfield Public Library. In this session, we focus on George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series (AKA "Game of Thrones") - A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance With Dragons.

This year the series focused on philosophical themes in the works and world of selected classic and contemporary fantasy and science fiction authors. The talk series has been renewed for another year, with 12 more speculative fiction (including some horror and magical realism) authors to come.
